Introduction

Installing and enabling the module

  1. Install and enable as you would normally install and enable a contributed Drupal module.
  2. Navigate to Configuration » Content authoring » Text formats.
  3. Click configure for the format you wish to enable codefilter in.
  4. Check the “Code Filter” checkbox to add the code filter to the forma..

You may need to rearrange the filtering chain to resolve any conflicts. For example, to prevent invalid HTML5 in the form of “<p><div class="codeblock">” make sure "Code filter" comes before the “Convert line breaks into HTML”-filter.

Block of code paced within the <code>-tag will be wrapped in a <div class="codeblock">. To enhance the style, you may want to edit your theme to provide a codeblock class for codeblocks.
